5.0 out of 5 stars Finally relief for my painfully dry cracked cuticles!, August 5, 2010

I used a sample bottle of this product bought at Bed Bath & Beyond and have run through it in only a little over a week. It is by far the best hand cream I've ever used, and I've used many. I've had dry cracked and sometimes bleeding cuticles that I have never been able to help but pick at since I was a child and this is the only lotion I've ever used that instantly took away that rough "pokey" feeling my peeling cuticles can have WITHOUT FEELING GREASY! With daily application I've seen a noticable difference in my skin.

In fact, it's so great that I tried using my old "go to" lotions when I ran out of the sample bottle (lubriderm, aveeno, eucerin and thick body creams from Bath & Body works) and all of them feel either too thin and watery or greasy and ineffective. I'll be buying the biggest bottle of this stuff I can find and using it every day. I'm so glad I found this product!

Oh and as for the smell, I think it's rather light and neutral, a lot like... Read more

My hands often get so dry that they crack and bleed...OUCH! So I always need hand repair cream close by.
The 3 that I have had success with are: Eucerin, Neutrogena, and Miracle Hand Repair.
Neutrogena feels thick and goopy at first, but when you apply just the right amount, your hands feel like they drank up a lot of moisture.
Miracle Hand Repair is closer to Eucerin, as they leave this weirdly smooth but non-greasy film on your hands. But it is much worse when using Eucirin, and it's not too bad at all with Miracle Hand Repair.
Out of the 3, Miracle Hand Repair might be the weakest, as I think the "repair" factor is not as good as the other two, but it is the best value and is light enough not to interfere with using your hands.
The smell could be better, but I'm not too worried about it. I also have lots of perfumed hand creams around that I enjoy when my hands are not at their worst.
I remember buying a sample size tube at Bed Bath & Beyond years ago,... Read more
